SOMA PULSE OCT 11 : 9 VIP Tickets until Sept 18
A monthly journey back to the most ancient rhythm within you
Before you had a name.
Before you had a story.
Before you learned who you were supposed to be…
You breathed.
And from your very first inhale to your final exhale, the breath remains one of the most intimate relationships you will ever have with life itself.
Yet somewhere along the way, many of us forget how to breathe consciously.
We hold our breath when we are afraid.
We shorten it when we are stressed.
We tighten around it when we are trying to survive.
The body remembers.
And sometimes, before we can speak our healing…
we simply need to breathe.
🌹 A Monthly Space to Come Home to Yourself
Conscious Breathwork is an invitation to pause the noise of the external world and enter the inner landscape of your body.
Through a fusion of conscious breathwork, breath-led movement, Tantra, sound, embodied awareness and the exploration of Śakti — our creative life-force energy — we create space to listen to what the body has been holding.
The breath is more than something that simply keeps us alive.
It is one of the few functions of the body that happens automatically, yet can also be consciously influenced.
And this is where something beautiful begins.
Through the breath, we can begin to consciously communicate with our body.
We can notice when we are contracted.
When we are holding.
When we are bracing for something that has already passed.
And through awareness, rhythm and intentional breathing, we may begin to invite the body into a different experience.
This is not about forcing an experience.
It is an invitation to soften.
To feel.
To awaken.
To release.
To remember.
Conscious breathwork invites us to become aware of these patterns.
Not to judge them.
But to meet them.
“Yathā prāṇaḥ tathā manaḥ.”
As the breath, so the mind.
The breath can become a bridge—
between the conscious and unconscious,
between the mind and the body,
between contraction and expansion,
between what we have suppressed and what is ready to be felt.

🌹 TANTRA & THE BREATHING BODY
Tantra invites us into a different relationship with ourselves.
Rather than rejecting the body in search of something “higher,” Tantra invites us to experience the sacred through the body.
Through sensation.
Through presence.
Through breath.
In this space, breathwork is not about performance.
It is about embodiment.
It is about learning to stay.
To stay with sensation.
To stay with emotion.
To stay with the pulse of life moving through the body.
The breath becomes a way of meeting the places within ourselves that we may have disconnected from.
Not with force.
But with presence.
Not with judgment.
But with curiosity.
The body is not separate from your spiritual journey.
The body is part of the path.
YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM & THE BREATH
Every moment, your body is listening to your environment.
It is constantly asking:
Am I safe?
Do I need to protect myself?
Can I rest?
Much of this happens beneath conscious awareness through the autonomic nervous system.
THE VAGUS NERVE — A BRIDGE BETWEEN BODY & BREATH
The vagus nerve is the major nerve pathway associated with the parasympathetic nervous system.
It travels from the brainstem through the body and connects with many important organs, including the heart, lungs and digestive system.
Its name comes from the Latin word vagus, meaning “wandering” — a beautiful reflection of its long journey throughout the body.
The vagus nerve plays an important role in regulating functions such as:
Heart rate
Breathing
Digestion
The body's relaxation and recovery responses
The vagus nerve is also involved in the ongoing communication between the brain and the body.
This is why the body is not simply something that follows the mind.
The body is constantly sending information back.
Breath is one of the ways we can consciously work with this relationship.
In particular, slow, comfortable breathing and a slightly longer exhale may support parasympathetic activity through vagal pathways.
This is why, after a stressful day, simply taking a moment to slow the breath can feel profoundly different from trying to think your way into relaxation.
Sometimes the body needs an experience of slowing down before the mind can believe it is safe to rest.
The exhale becomes an invitation.
A softening.
A letting go.
A small message whispered through the body:
You do not have to hold everything right now.
The vagus nerve reminds us of something Tantra has always understood:
The mind and body are not separate.
What we think can affect how we feel.
But how we breathe, move, sound and inhabit our body can also influence our state of being.
🌹 WHY CONSCIOUS BREATHWORK?
PHYSICAL
Conscious breathwork may support:
Greater awareness of breathing patterns
Releasing habitual physical tension
Supporting relaxation and recovery
Greater connection with the body
Improved awareness of posture and areas of contraction
Supporting healthier transitions between activation and rest
Greater awareness of vitality and physical presence
Your breath is always communicating with your body.
When we slow down enough to listen, the body often begins to reveal what words cannot.
EMOTIONAL
The body does not only hold muscles and bones.
It also carries the imprint of our experiences.
Unspoken grief.
Unexpressed anger.
Longing.
Joy.
Love.
Loss.
Conscious breath can create a supported space to witness emotions as they arise.
You may experience:
A greater capacity to feel without immediately reacting
Emotional expression or release
Connection with grief, joy, anger or tenderness
A sense of spaciousness around emotions
Greater self-awareness and self-compassion
Nothing needs to be fixed.
Sometimes the deepest medicine is simply allowing yourself to feel what is already asking to be felt.
MENTAL
When life becomes overwhelming, the mind often runs ahead of the body.
Breath invites us back.
A conscious breathing practice may support:
Mental clarity
Presence and focus
Awareness of habitual thought patterns
A greater sense of calm
A feeling of spaciousness
The ability to pause before automatically reacting
As we become aware of the breath, we begin to notice the spaces between our thoughts.
And perhaps, in those spaces…
we remember who we are beneath the noise.
SPIRITUAL
For those who experience breath as more than physiology, it can become a doorway into something sacred.
A remembering.
A return.
A meeting with the part of you that existed before the roles, expectations and identities.
Ātman (आत्मन्) — the inner Self.
Prāṇa (प्राण) — vital life force.
Śakti (शक्ति) — creative, dynamic energy.
Sākṣin (साक्षिन्) — the witness.
Through breath, we practise becoming the witness.
Not running from the sensation.
Not becoming the thought.
Not needing to explain every emotion.
Simply witnessing.
Simply breathing.
Simply being.
“Yogaś citta-vṛtti-nirodhaḥ.”
Yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind.
— The Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali
And perhaps, sometimes…
the journey towards stillness begins with a single conscious breath.

you are welcome.
No previous experience is required.
You do not need to know how to breathe “perfectly.”
You do not need to be flexible.
You do not need to be spiritual.
You simply need a willingness to meet yourself.
Come with curiosity.
Come with your questions.
Come with your tiredness.
Come with the parts of yourself you have been too busy to meet.
Your breath does not ask you to become someone else.
It simply asks:
Are you willing to be here?
Come.
Breathe.
Feel.
Soften.
Awaken.
Remember.
Your breath has been with you since the beginning.
Perhaps it is time to consciously come back to it.
75 minutes.
One breath at a time.
A monthly journey back home to yourself.
BRING ALONG :
Come with as little as possible — and bring what allows your body to feel comfortable, safe and supported.
Please bring:
A yoga mat — your foundation for the practice.
A blanket or shawl — the body can cool down during deeper breathwork and integration.
Warm, comfortable layers — you may move between activation and deep rest.
A bottle of water — stay hydrated before and after the session.
Comfortable clothing — ideally loose enough around the belly, ribs and chest to allow unrestricted breathing and movement.
A journal & pen — optional, for capturing anything that arises after the practice.
An open heart and curious mind — you don't need to arrive with an intention or expectation.
And perhaps most importantly…
Bring yourself exactly as you are.
You don't need to prepare your emotions.
You don't need to clear your mind.
You don't need to know what you're going to experience.
Come tired.
Come joyful.
Come curious.
Come uncertain.
Let the breath meet you there.
The only thing you truly need to bring is your willingness to breathe, feel and be present.
COME BREATHE WITH ME
Perhaps you don't need another space to learn.
Perhaps you need a space to remember.
To remember the rhythm beneath the rushing.
The softness beneath the holding.
The life force beneath the numbness.
For 75 minutes, we step away from the noise of the world and return to something ancient.
Your breath.
Your body.
Your Prāṇa.
Your Śakti.
It has carried you through every beginning, every ending, every grief, every becoming.
Perhaps this month, you allow yourself to consciously meet it.
